Yearbook
"A Time To Remember"
Ever notice a
student who doesn't seem quite right? Maybe
you're looking at an overworked yearbook
staffer. Yearbook Production requires a solid
commitment from its members. It always seems to
require a task which will take a student "above
and beyond” the normal efforts of even a good
student. Preparation for a yearbook takes time.
It might take all week to get the right shot for
your page. Check your camera out, make sure it's
loaded with film, batteries are charged, flash
is in working order, you have a pass written to
get out of class, you're sure of the shot and in
what section it is featured, vertical or
horizontal formats are known, the function is
happening...today (hopefully), ...then..."Go get
the shot!"
In class it might take a few preparation
minutes, then it's regroup and pound keys until
all those "DPS's",(double page spreads), are
completed. Yearbook will also take over partial
responsibility for content of the Bell Clubs Web
Page. The philosophy of the faculty is we can do
more with more help so Yearbook Club and Laser
Images will be responsible for this synergistic
approach to production.
Lead, follow or get
the heck out of the way! Yearbook
production has no room for slackers. The bottom
line is that it is always fun. "Yeah right!"
Purchase your yearbook at the Financial Office.
Yearbooks are sold September through June and
prices are announced throughout the year. The
yearbook is less expensive in the fall and more
costly in the spring.
