Sept. 8 - First day of school

Sept. 16 - Field Trip La Jolla Playhouse @ 9:15

      Please sign permission slip and send in with your $6.00 donation.  Parent drivers, please fill out the parent iinformation paper.

Sept. 22 - Open House @ 6:15 - 7:30

Readers Workshop - We will be exploring nonfiction texts and looking  at the information the author is giving us. We will then compare fiction with nonfiction.

Writers Workshop -  Students will be writing nonfiction pieces on themselves.

Math - We will be exploring numbers and how they work, and combining groups of numbers up to five.

Science  - Air and Weather

Social Studies - Neighborhoods and Communities

Health - Healthy bodies
