The School of Community Health and Medical Practices (CHAMPs), located on the Crawford Educational Complex, opened in September 2004. CHAMPs offers an innovative community that ensures the highest levels of learning for all in a safe and inviting environment, where diversity is celebrated and everyone is treated with dignity and respect. CHAMPs aspires to instill a passion for learning in all students in order to ensure that they develop the skills needed to succeed in college and our global society.

Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program - The California Department of Education (CDE) created a website to help parents gain a clearer understanding of the STAR Program. There are also practice questions for students. The website is located at http://www.starsamplequestions.org.
