 Will Cognos work on my computer? What are the system requirements?

Question: What are the system requirements for using Cognos?

Answer: Cognos is a web-based application which can be accessed from work. The IT Department plans on making the tool available from home some time soon.


The IT Department recommends the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 6 SP1 for Windows 2000/2003
  • Internet Explorer 6 SP2 for Windows XP
  • Netscape 7.1or greater for any platform
  • Firefox 1.0.4 or greater for any platform
