crawford complex

Welcome to Crawford Educational Complex.  We offer an exciting, unique, educational experience for your student.  Founded in 2004, with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Crawford High School underwent a redesign process that provides four unique educational choices for your student.  Each school features a specific area of study with an emphasis on building a foundation for higher education.  Additionally, our students continue to have access to all the features a comprehensive school site offers including athletics, clubs, and dances. The following are the four schools at Crawford Educational Complex:

  • School of Community Health and Medical Practices (CHAMPS) - provides a learning environment that integrates rigorous academics and hands-on, real world projects relating to personal fitness, health and medical sciences
  • Invention & Design Educational Academy (IDEA) - provides students personalized opportunities to explore their community, country, and world, as well as their own lives as shaped by new inventions and technology.
  • School of Law and Business (LAB) - prepares all students to qualify for a four-year college/university through the lens of legal and law enforcement opportunities and issues.
  • Multimedia and Visual Arts School (MVAS) - provides a climate of collaboration and mutual respect focusing on web design, video production, and graphic arts.
