Overview
San Diego Unified School District Adult Education Program is committed to providing a comprehensive High School Diploma Program (HSDP) that is responsive to the educational needs of the adult learner. Our goal is to provide each student with an educational program of excellence in a learner-centered, cohesive, and supportive environment. The success of the HSDP is evidenced each year as many adult students earn the Adult High School Diploma and may high school students earn credit needed to graduate. Our students continue on to become productive community members and workers, effective family members, and lifelong learners.
Program Services
The Adult Education HSDP provides an opportunity for adult students, 18 to 20 years of age, to complete course requirements for the Adult High School Diploma. Further, students at least 16 years of age who are enrolled in a San Diego Unified School District high school may concurrently enroll in adult education courses to make up failed courses needed for graduation.
