Overview
The Teacher Preparation and Induction Programs works in collaboration with other divisions, departments, and external entities to facilitate federal, state, and district initiatives and oversees the direction of assigned district-wide professional and organizational development functions. It plans, organizes, evaluates, controls, and directs teacher preparation, induction, and professional development functions for teachers along a continuum of experience, from aspiring to veteran. It assists teachers, principals, and others to identify professional development strategies that lead to improved student achievement.
