Strategies to
Help Young Readers:
You will find several suggestions on helping the young reader learn how to read better. Suggestion like, choose some favorite poems to read aloud. Have your child read the poems and acquire fluency.
Selecting the Right Book:
Make the selection of books you read a joint effort. It is important to keep in mind your child's interests and his/her abilities. Check out Selecting the Right Book for more helpful ideas.
