Math and Science Magnet emphasizes educating children
for the future through a well-balanced curriculum that is both
challenging and stimulating. We provide exemplary science and
math programs that integrate literature, problem solving and technology,
as well as promote hands-on critical thinking experiences. Specialized
teachers for math and science labs utilize the latest technology
including computers, multimedia and Internet research. Our program
also provides opportunities for parent involvement in student
learning with curriculum and technology information and inservice
training.

A Physical Education program that incorporates physical fitness,
health, and sportsmanship
- On
March 28, 2006, the Board of Education voted 5-0 to expand Grant
Math/Science Magnet to K-8 with the addition of 6th grade
in 2006-2007 school year, 7th grade in 2007-2008, and 8th grade
in 2008-2009.
