Congratulations to the staff, administration, parents and especially the hard-working children of Foster Elementary School who qualified for the 2010 California Distinguished School Program.

Being chosen to is an honor that highlights our school's work in best practices. Schools were chosen for their overall scores as well as boosting achievement for all significant subgroups, based on categories that include ethnicity and socioeconomic status.

Please join me on Tuesday, June 8, at 8:00 a.m. in the Parent Room (Rm. 24). We will be discussing and sharing summertime activities for you and your child. One of the things that will be presented are academic websites that are fun and educational! We will also be sharing some educational opportunities that your child can particiapte in at home over summer. Looking forward to meeting with you.

REGISTRATION

We are enrolling new students for the 2010-2011 School Year . The following items are needed to register:

Original Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Last progress report
Address verification-utilities bill, rental reciept, etc.

Monday, June 21 Last day of School - FULL DAY

Friday, June 25 - Office Closes for the summer
