So what does Green School's outstanding Academic Performance Index (API) score of 10 really mean?

Green is one of only 14 elementary schools in San Diego Unified with an API (Academic Performance Index) statewide ranking of 10. We also are very proud of our similar schools ranking where we earned a 9; this means that out of 100 schools statewide with similar demographics to Green, we scored in the ninth decile. While some schools in the district have a higher API score (Green's score is 889; the API scale is from 200 to 1000.) , we are the only elementary school in San Diego Unified with a combined 10/9 ranking. This is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff, students, and parents here at Green.
