Supervision of students is provided in the courtyard every morning starting at 7:15 am. Students should not arrive on school grounds before this time. The first bell rings at 7:28 am and signals all students to their class lines. A second bell rings at 7:30am when a school wide flag salute takes place. Students not at their class lines by 7:30am are considered tardy. Tardy students will be assigned to recess detention. Students are expected to leave the campus immediately after dismissal at the end of each day.
School office hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm daily. A telephone answering machine will record your message if you call the school outside of these hours. You are most welcome to visit the school anytime. If you plan to visit a classroom for more than a few moments or would like to speak with the principal, please schedule a time to meet. For security reasons, and in accordance with city ordinance, we ask that you sign-in at the office and get a visitor’s badge before proceeding to any other part of the school. Volunteers are recognized yearly for their service to the school. Volunteers have a special sign-in sheet and badge in the office. Your cooperation is appreciated.
