Where can I find the latest Green's Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) results?
This report can be found at the California Department of Education web site. The report includes demographic data for each student sub-group, including Gender, Race/Ethnicity, Language Fluency, Program Participation, Special Education Program Participation and Parent Education Level. Where can I get information about Green's School Accountability Report Card?
All public schools in California must provide information about themselves to the public through a School Accountability Report Card, usually sent home around March. This report card examines Green Elementary's policies, programs and progress and is also available at the school or at the district's Communications Department at (619) 725-5578. We invite parents to come to Green Elementary to look at these materials, to meet their children's teachers and to expand their involvement in their children's education. Does Green offer English Language instruction?
Students who have been identified as English Language Learners are placed in classrooms with teachers who have been specially trained to teach them. All classes are conducted in English, however, specialized instruction is woven throughout the daily curriculum to foster English Language Development.
