PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Hearst Families,

 Welcome to Hearst Elementary school!  I am Jamie Jorgensen the new principal at Hearst.  I believe that all children deserve a quality education and have access to all learning opportunities. At Hearst we have high expectations in the classroom and around the campus. We are a community of learners that promote academic excellence. We provide a safe, welcoming, and academic environment for your child. 

We welcome back our returning students and their families, and we extend a special welcome to our new students and families.  We hope you enjoyed your summer reading wonderful books, visiting the library, and exploring new parts of the world. The entire staff at Hearst has been preparing for the arrival of your children and we are very excited about the upcoming school year.  Lots of interesting and enriching learning experiences are being planned and we look forward to working with you in making this year the most successful ever.  Again, this year I will encourage you and your child to take an active role in the operation of their classroom, our school, and community.
