From automobiles to lasers, televisions to zippers, inventions and new designs make our lives more comfortable, stimulating and efficient. The Invention and Design Educational Academy (IDEA) provides students with personalized opportunities to explore their community, country, and world, as well as their own lives as shaped by new inventions and technology. We provide students with the opportunity to work on real world and inquiry-oriented projects throughout the college preparatory curriculum in a smaller, more personalized learning environment.

Model T Ford Club At Crawford High School

On Monday, September 28th, the Model T Ford Club of San Diego was invited to Crawford. They presented nine vehicles ranging from a 1901 Oldsmobile to present day automobiles. Their visit was to show the students of Crawford how the vehicles relate to early self-powered personal transportation. Students were able to examine up close to the station wagons and see how the structure improved over time.
