Though not strictly enforced, students are strongly encouraged to wear uniform clothing. The main goal of uniforms is to improve behavior and help students focus on schoolwork to improve academic achievement and to increase school pride. The best prices for new clothing seems to be at Target, K-Mart Sears, Mervyns, Wal Mart, Fam-Mart, Swap Meet, etc. The best possible deal can sometimes be found second-hand: thrift stores, rummange sales, or friends/relatives "pass-me-along's".
