Welcome Statement

Bienvenue! Bienvenidos! Welcome! This is the year when your child will be learning to read content, rather than learning to read. Through our multicultural approach we will trace our community, history from pre-colonial times to present day while recognizing the pasts’ influence in the world around us. In mathematics, we will be applying number sense to the ever increasing complexity of numbers and abstract concepts. In science, we explore patterns in the universe, the three states of matter and its variations, and animals’ and plants’ adaptations to their environment.
