About Us

Isaac, Selasi, Gideon and Sean

Isaac is an average Ghanaian boy. Having lived in Ghana pretty much all his life, he is as typically a Ghanaian as any. However, due to his inclination to computers right after his exposure to IT at the sixth grade, he has managed to pull ahead of many of his peers in IT literacy. This helped him, become the president of the Computer Club of Opoku Ware School. This project is the first he has successfully undertaken, though he had a not so successful stint at an earlier one. Currently studying at Opoku Ware School in his final year, he hopes to be able to combine IT with whatever career he takes up after school. “I like reading everything that comes across my way, and this has influenced certain fields of my life drastically. You would be amazed at the kind of things you get to know just reading a lot. It was reading that hooked me to PCs. I was using Encarta a lot, and this was a stepping stone to amazing discoveries. This project has been so exciting in so many ways. I never used to look at jazz or understand it the way I do now. I have also added to my PC knowledge. That’s always a great thing.” Other than reading, he has a very wide interest in a lot of things. “I guess I would make a shorter list if I wrote the things I wasn’t interested in. I really love to be creative, and this takes you places.”

Selasi is a final year Business student of Opoku Ware School. An individual who likes to enlighten and be enlightened, he has seen this project as a means of making that dream/desire come true. This project has helped us learn about how some forms of music came about and its impact on the global village. An up and coming writer who is interested in reading and writing anything that has got to do with literature (from poems to stories). Selasi loves music especially gospel blues.

Gideon is a third year student of Opoku Ware School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He studies Biology, Physics and Chemistry as his major subjects. He got interested in this project when he heard of it from an IT teacher in his school, Mr. Harry Tetteh. He is a very active person who is reputed to be one of the people in the school to join the most the most clubs, being executives in most, from The Wildlife Club to The Science Club, he is right there. And now he has this project to add to his portfolio. He hopes all this experience he is gathering will help him snag a good career in future

Sean is from San Diego, California in America. He was born in 1990 and has lived here his entire life. He has been attending John Muir School since the 8th grade and is graduating this June. His favorite subjects are English, History and Biology. He is interested in music and is always looking for new things to get into.
