Service Description
The role of IT On-Site Support begins after your office staff attends Zangle and DataScanner training classes. Your designated OSS representative will travel to your school to help your staff execute the processes and procedures learned during training, using your school’s production data. Our purpose is to help ensure the accuracy of the student data being entered into Zangle to meet the state and federal reporting requirements. We also provide assistance over the phone, via instant messaging, email, and remote access.
The Power User Model
Each school is to designate a Zangle Power User. The Zangle Power User is a staff member who is most familiar with the Zangle application system and is responsible for assisting other staff members with questions and issues related to the Zangle application. The Zangle Power User is also the person responsible for contacting IT OSS for assistance, if needed. The IT Department will communicate primarily with the Zangle Power User. Information sent by IT to the Zangle Power User is to be disseminated by the Zangle Power User to the rest of the school staff, as necessary.

It is important to note that IT On-Site Support does not perform data entry. Rather, the team members coach and assist the school staff by guiding them to help get tasks completed accurately and efficiently. Also, we are unable to resolve hardware, network, server, or password issues. If you are experiencing any of these problems, please call the IT Help Desk at (619) 725-7500.
