Curriculum Implementation PD – Life Science (K-5)
Introduction to FOSS California; review grade level specific life science modules, teacher’s guides, and Units of Study; development of an implementation plan for teaching life science modules; and overview of FOSS instructional supports. Some training dates will focus specifically on implementing particular grade level modules and handling the live animals that are part of the module.

Teacher Leadership Academy
Develop teacher leaders to support and facilitate science professional development at school sites. Enable teachers to deliver more effective science instruction that meets the needs of all students. Establish collaborative relationships with site leadership and instructional leadership teams.
