 IDM - Functional Time & Day Skills
Description

Target Audience:  Special Educators

This training will provide hands-on strategies to assist team members in developing age appropriate time and day planning instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities.  Participants will identify the skills needed to functionally develop time skills as it relates to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.  Adaptations and supports to increase student independence when planning and using schedules at school and at home will be shared.

Outcomes: Participants will be able to articulate the instructional decisions made and show evidence of individually designed materials and instructional strategies to teach time and day planning skills based on the IEP goals and instructional needs of their students.
