Description |
Length of Class: 4 hours
Purpose: Provide elementary school principals with the basics of handling school site budgets and finances.
Intended Audience: Elementary school site Principals.
Objectives: After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Locate and use common Budget Strings for Finance and Payroll.
- Use the district Resource Matrix,
- Understand the School Budget Allocation Formula, including Resources, Seminar Allocation, and the Budget Workbook,
- Read Budget Reports,
- Understand Budget Expenditure Transfers,
- Monitor their school's budget,
- Locate and work within district dates and timelines,
- Understand and create Personnel Action Requests (PARs).
