CELDT Update

Dear CELDT Test Site Coordinators:
 
Please see the important message from IT below regarding Kindergarten students.  It is imperative that the Home Language Survey information is entered into Zangle for all Kindergarten students by the end of the day tomorrow, September 15th.  If students do not have this data in Zangle, pre-coded CELDT labels for those students will not be available and you will need to hand-grid the demographic information for each test booklet.

For questions regarding the Home Language Survey, please call Bonnie Doherty at 619-725-7264. For questions about using Zangle, please contact your IT On-Site Support staff member.

CELDT Update

Dear Principals and/or CELDT Site Test Coordinators:

The CELDT “Nuts and Bolts” Training Sessions for Site Test Coordinators are scheduled for next week. These sessions are intended to provide training relative to processing test materials, the administration, and security issues of the assessment for this year, 2009-10.  All CELDT “Nuts and Bolts” trainings will be held at the Ballard Parent Center. The Ballard Parent Center is located at 2375 Congress Street, San Diego CA 92110.  Please see the attached flyer for directions.

The CELDT Nuts and Bolts Training Sessions are scheduled as follows:
Ø   All Schools (A-J): Tuesday, September 15, from 3:30 – 5:00, at Ballard Parent Center
Ø   All Schools (K-Z): Thursday, September 17, from 3:30 – 5:00, at Ballard Parent Center

If you are unable to attend the workshop on your assigned day, please attend on the alternate day. You may contact me or Denise Ormsbee at dormsbee@sandi.net  if you have any questions.

CELDT Update

Dear Principals and/or CELDT Site Test Coordinators:

We’ve received a lot of calls from sites regarding missing CELDT materials.  Please inventory your CELDT materials ASAP.  If you are missing any materials shown on your packing list, please contact Denise Ormsbee at dormsbee@sandi.net by this Thursday, September 10th. We must report all discrepancies to the CELDT test publisher, EDS, by Friday morning (September 11th).
