Regular Bus: Leaves Wangenheim at 2:20

Late Bus: The bus leaves at 3:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  In order to take the late bus, students must get a pass from the teacher they were with in a school sponsored activity. Students are not allowed to hang out with their friends and then get on the late bus.

Any student who misses the first bus will have to take the late bus. Any student who misses the late bus will have to call home and have their parents come pick them up.

LATE BUS NOTIFICATION

If a bus is more than 10 minutes late: The parent can call 858-496-8460 and select Option 1 for the operator. The dispatch operator will ask what bus letter the parent is calling about. Then call the bus driver on the radio and find out the estimated time of arrival.

If a bus is more than 30 minutes late: The transportation department will begin attempting to call every parent on the manifest. It is important that the school always has your current phone numbers.

CELL PHONES:  In case of a late bus students are always allowed to use their cell phones to call their parents.

Bus Arrives Late at Wangenheim:  If we know about the delay when the students are still at school, we ask them to use the school phone to contact their parents.
