Read With Us
Our Board Members and management staff are reading this year to set an example for all of our students. Click below to see what we are reading. Our book recommendations are linked to Amazon.com where if you buy our favorites, or any book, the district will receive a 4% rebate for everything you spend. Your purchases will generate gift cards that we will give to our teachers to buy books for kids in our classrooms. You can also check the availability of books at San Diego Public Library branches.

Motivating children to read is an important factor in student achievement and creating lifelong successful readers. Research has shown that children who are motivated and spend more time reading do better in school. One of the many ways we, as adults, will emphasize reading this year is by modeling reading throughout the year.
