Description

Length of Class: 2 hours

Purpose: To provide secondary school teachers with the ability to use TeacherConnection and Gradebook, and login and generate reports from Cognos.

Intended Audience: Secondary School Teachers.

Objectives: After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • use TeacherConnection to:
    • Post attendance and marks
    • Build seating charts
    • View student data
    • Print various reports
    • Troubleshoot common issues related to using TeacherConnect
  • use Gradebook to:
    • Set options and Define Assignments
    • Score Assignments over the course of the semester
    • Calculate and Post Marks at the end of a Reporting Period
  • log in to Cognos and generate reports.
