Web Content Management with Microsoft SharePoint Server

Intended Audience:
This solution is currently targeted to elementary schools that do not have a website. Attendees should include a site administrator and at least one additional staff member who will help maintain the school's website.
Purpose:
Provide an easy, no-cost way for schools to develop and maintain a basic website using a web content management system.
This is the first phase of an ongoing project. Additional web functionality, including classroom websites for teachers, integration with student information systems, and electronic storage for student work will be incorporated over time.
Prerequisites:
Contact Geoff Smith in the Communications Department at (619) 725-7464 or gsmith2@sandi.net to receive a list of content you should collect prior to attending the first session. You will be expected to incorporate the information you have gathered about your school into your website during this class.
